Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy means using the pure, essential oils of flowers, roots and leaves to promote harmony within the physical, emotional and spiritual body. At Bellenden Therapies, our aromatherapists Jane and Vanessa use individual blends of essential oils, vegetable oils and base products to help facilitate relaxation. We offer massage and facials as well as tailor-made products to be used at home between treatments.

All the blends we administer are created in light of your feelings and wishes at the time of your visit. To ensure this we conduct a thorough, friendly, non-judgemental consultation before each treatment. When used carefully and under the guidance of a qualified professional, aromatherapy oils are safe for most children and adults.

Vanessa is a member of the IFA (International Federation of Aromatherapists) and registered with the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).

Jane Tilton has been practising Aromatherapy for some 25 years. She is a member of the International Federation of Aromatherapists and has been a council member twice; she is also a member of the British Reflexology Association. She has written several articles and contributes to the ‘Aromatherapy Times’ as well as other books and magazines. She also runs classes on making your own Aromatherapy products and baby massage.
