Millie offers a safe and non-judgemental space for you to explore your feelings and work through the difficulties and challenges you may be facing. Millie firmly believes that this counselling space can be transformative and restorative. She has worked with clients from a range of backgrounds with a variety of issues including bereavement, childhood trauma, relationship issues, work related stress, cultural identity, low self-esteem, and parenting issues.

For Millie, working in a Person-Centred way means working at your pace with the issues you’re bringing to counselling, and retaining or finding your autonomy throughout the process. Coming to counselling can be daunting, whether or not it’s your first time. She believes in taking things step by step in a way that feels comfortable for you.

Millie has worked for a variety of charitable organisations in London and spent 2 years working for an EAP (Employee Assistance Programme), offering support to employees from a variety of organisations. She has experience working with people long term, as well as on a more short term basis. In 2017, she co-facilitated a mums’ support group to help women who are either new mums or
have recently had another child to find solace and understanding in a
non-judgemental and warm space.

Millie is a qualified Person-Centred counsellor with a BA and Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling from the Metanoia Institute. She is also a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (Registered member MBACP), and adheres to the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice (2018). Her other qualifications include a foundation certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regents College and certificates from Continuing Professional Development workshops such as: Working with people with Dementia, Emotion-Focused therapy, Spirituality in Person-Centred Therapy and Working with Autistic Process.
